HERE ARE THE INSTRUCTIONS I USED TO MAKE THIS PROJECT
In this tutorial the
name Seal is referring to the use of the new Stampin' Seal
Cut a piece of Misty Moonlight Cardstock (CS) 6½" x 4¼"
and 2⅝" x ⅝"
on the large piece on the long side score at 2" and 4"
From your computer, you can custom make your tag Please Take One as follows:
From your computer, you can custom make your tag Please Take One as follows:
I am using Microsoft Word
Highlight your text, choose Font Rockwell Extra Bold
Font size 18
Font color, click the drop down arrow, choose more colors, click custom
If you have the option for HEX Code, type 5F7D99
Otherwise change your RGB to Red - 95, Green - 125, Blue - 153 then click OK
Then print it on Whisper White Cardstock
This is what you will get Please Take One
Place the small rectangle die from the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies over your text
and run thru Bigshot
Seal the bottom 2" piece of Misty Moonlight CS
Place your scalloped boarder piece flush to the bottom with an ⅛" showing on both sides
This will leave your scalloped boarder not sealed down above the fold line
Cut a coordinating piece of DSP 5¼" x 3"
On the long side, score ¾" from both ends
On the short side, score 1⅛" from both ends
Cut the short lines on both ends (See Template)
On the end of each side, add seal on the back side of the DSP to one end tab and the center tab. Fold the sides up, then fold in the tab that does not have any adhesive, then fold up the small center tab hiding it in the middle, then fold the last tab over. Repeat on the other side, thus forming the box.
On the back side of you box, add 2 rows of Tear and Tape Adhesive
Peal off the strips and place on top of the coordinating DSP again flush to the bottom and centered
Mountain fold the two score lines bringing the wide piece under the box to form the base. Seal the Please Take One greeting to the front of the box and add the beaded pearl using Tombow Liquid Glue or Tear and Tape about 1" in to form the stop. The weight of your Business Cards will hold it down. (Option 1) This was my vision for making this.
To better secure it, I decided to add Tear And Tape to seal both 2" pieces together. I also added a strip on the 2½" deep piece to secure the bottom of the box. You could just put Tear and Tape on the bottom of the box instead.
Remove the paper in the 2" rectangle, then fold and seal both 2" pieces together. Then remove the paper from the 2½" side and adhere the bottom of the box in place. Just add your Business Cards and set them where friends, customers can readily take one.Another option for the box is t to make your label Gift Cards so you have a place to store them so when you are ready to use them, you can find them easily.

DeleteThank you! I had one I made years ago and I needed an update. Also, I wanted to show people how they can use the RBG or HEX codes to add addition text in the same color as the ink.
DeleteLove this idea i am going to make one. Great Job!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Can't wait to see what you make!
